Saturday 1/26/02: TDavid leaves Speak Your Mind Anybody who knows me, knows that when it comes
to business, I do not make snap decisions. So this post was made after a great deal of
thought and a full day of consideration and consultation with friends on the web. You
might have noticed that I have not been posting nearly as much and/or as often at this
forum over the last 30 days.
Effective immediately, I am withdrawing my moderator status and endorsement of the Speak
Your Mind forum and XBiz as a whole. A number of events have happened at XBiz since I
created and started moderating this board and especially very recently which have
illustrated to me that I can no longer support this website and its activities any longer.
I have already notified Alec and Marsha of my decision privately and I would rather not
get into specifics any further in public, but I did feel it was necessary to post here to
the many webmasters/webmistresses who have posted regularly at this forum since its
inception of my decision. Should someone decide to remove this post than it will be
available unedited on tdavids.com.
Although it is kara's individual decision, she has told me that she will likely not be
participating here any more either based on the same reasons.
Between the two of us we posted over 2000 messages at Cosmic Village in the last year and
have been major contributors to growing the XBiz forums in 2001 and beginning 2002.
I do not know what Marsha and Alec will do with this board, but if they are keeping it,
then they will need a new moderator or two. So contact them if you are interested and
inquire about it.
I am sure you will see kara and I around elsewhere
