07/16/02: MLB strike: The better not have one!
This whole all star game being a tie and the impending (is it, really?) strike among MLB players bothers me. Here the state of the US economy is not all that good and these two parties can't figure out how to split up billions of $$? I will usually take in a few MLB games and I am a subscriber of MLB radio on the net, but I can guarantee if these bastards strike this year, I'll be boycotting the year that they come back.

I haven't written for awhile, but then I haven't had a lot really to say. The last month has been a busy one with several projects nearing a public release state. When this happens I sort of have little time for doing one of the things I enjoy most: writing. Leave it to some dude running around nude at Wimbleton to raise my writing spirits lol. Just think of all the bad jokes that will come out of this one. He couldn't find his streak in the racket ...

Aren't those trees relaxing? I have this set to my home page (after all it is my personal page) and there's something serene about those trees above. Don't you think?

Monday Jan 13 2003, we had a major power line surge in our office. It did the following damage (we are still finding out things that aren't working it seems):

- shorted out QTY. 2 two-line telephone power supplys
- fried an IBM AS 400 modem (can't get this thing in stores it seems grrrr)
- fried a panasonic fax machine
- fried power surge extension strip (I think proof that those things are not all that much protection against huge surges)
- UPS power surge protector and backup is making loud pop noises and is not sounding well
- started a computer on fire (see picture below with me holding what is left of the power supply and fan):

This page is updated dynamically on an once in a great while so you might want to bookmark and check back here and there. By the domain name, this is my personal site, but my intention for this site is to share some of my comments on business, life and the net and send traffic to sites that are providing mutually beneficial business.

As of this writing, I have a lousy design for this site, but that is because I am just not very good at graphics. Naturally I could pay a designer (or call in a favor from somebody I've hooked up in the past), but I have mixed emotions (probably completely without merit) about using a pro designer for a design of a site that is personal based, lol. One of these days I'm going to try and improve this graphics skill of mine, but in the meantime, forgive my lack of creativity in the design ;)

With this said, thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy reading.
