"be surprised how receptive online radio show hosts and producers are to contact like this and it's FREE promotion."
Hello scorpiocreation,
There are many, many ways to get additional exposure at Adult NetSurprise.
1) Get and stay involved at the ANS messageboards. You have a tagline which is free advertising, 120x60 thumb graphics that showcase your talents (and perhaps could be relevant to the discussion), you can add full size graphics to posts that you've created to share, voice posts in your own words describing your products/services -- there's a plethora of opportunities that present themselves on a daily basis on the ANS messageboards. The new Traffic board is especially geared to traffic.
2) Visit and regularly attend the graphixzone chats on Thursdays and see if you can add any helpful information to the discussion. I host the Script School radio show on Fridays and you are not only welcome, but encouraged to stop by there and tell folks about what you do -- network during the show (it starts at 2pm PT / 5pm ET every Friday).
3) Barry just posted this:

Are you a web designer?
Why not add your site and example showcase in our Gallery Showcase! You must be an Adult NetSurprise Member to showcase your work. Graphixzone Gallery!

4) Talk to Kaiser about paid advertising. While this might seem like an expensive endeavor he has plans of various sizes and scope, so it doesn't hurt to at least explore the option.
5) Contact the radio show hosts like myself: principal at scriptschool dot com, Twinkley, Headless and Sandra at MaxCashLive, etc, with a graphics-related topic that you are willing to come on and share with webmasters as a guest on the program. Something that will help webmasters do something useful and cool. You'll be surprised how receptive online radio show hosts and producers are to contact like this and it's FREE promotion
Hope this help ;)

"I'm sure someone will sue Microsoft when they put this in as a built-in, free feature"
Though I don't think consoles will ever "die" I do think the days of console-killers becoming a common browser feature are not that far away, nor unrealistic, kind of like cookie monitoring has become.
Bad news for the software makers that are banking on their $15-$75 popup-killer software selling forever.
I'm sure someone will sue Microsoft when they put this in as a built-in, free feature. Everybody seems to be sueing M$ these days.
I like what Flynt is doing and think more sponsors should investigate that path. Give webmasters who run websites with no consoles an option to send their traffic to a popup-free zone.
Also I believe instead of consoles we'll see more and more of those built-in DHTML-style ads like the one where the car drives across the screen and then disappears into the background or the Nike AD where the shoe comes out of the background and then at you on the page for a second or two.
Or perhaps product placement ads like they once did on radio and TV. Kind of difficult to kill those lol ;)

"Supposedly AOL is going to use in place of IE if this beta test with the 3 million Compuserve members goes over well"
Any of you designers check out Compuserve 7.0 (released 4/16/02) with the new gecko (Netscape) engine and see how the graphics are coming out, yet?
I downloaded and have been reviewing how it handles JS and have noticed (if things don't change) that it is pretty compatible with NS6. Supposedly AOL is going to use in place of IE if this beta test with the 3 million Compuserve members goes over well. I do realize it is based on NS6, but it isn't a complete port from what I understand.
If this eventually happens, that would equal almost 40 million users with a built-in Netscape browser (not sure how many are adult and/or would actually use the built in one rather than just minimizing and launching another browser), which might start to turn the tides on the overwhelming IE userbase.
I remember when Netscape was *the* browser. Would be interesting to see it comes back ;)

"It's been my experience that some amount of preselling and prequalification on the gallery side will greatly increase your clickthru to sale ratio"
Honestly, I'm not getting the connection between spy cams and asians looking at this gallery page and then when I clickthru to the sponsor there is nothing on that site which makes me want to buy a membership (especially with the string of 4 popups that appear on the main page, but I realize that isn't your doing).
I was kind of thinking when I hit the sponsor page after viewing your gallery that I'd see some sort of more detailed info about the spy camera stuff I would find if I purchased a membership, but that doesn't come until the 1st guest tour page. The only mention is the quick flash of spy cams crosshairs graphic (which I thought was kind of cool). Instead I see what, in my opinion, is one of the biggest surfer killers for *ANY* site these day:
Come see why we're the "#1" Asian site on the web!
Everything is #1 these days it seems, but if everything was #1 there would never be any #2
They do emphasize: Hot Lesbians, Live Video, XXX Videos, Horny Amateurs and my favorite (not!):
"100%" Asian Hardcore!
I wonder what "25% Asian Hardcore" is like, because everything is "100% something" these days too. Can you just imagine a guy frantically running around the office, "Boss, I've done everything I could do but all we can manage is *50%* hardcore!"
... Back to what *you* can do something about, though:
The blue background on black with green borders on the pix doesn't do it for me either when I go to the sponsor and see hot pink with yellow and blue text.
Maybe you could try using a similar color scheme of the paysite you are promoting?
Has anyone else here tried that with success? I know when I was building galleries once upon a time, I would study the paysite I was promoting (I would often buy or ask to obtain a free temp pass to the members area) and try to tailor my gallery to compliment the feel of the paysite (this does *not* mean to copy anything, of course).
I kind of used galleries as a starting point to get to the paysite tour and guts. Whatever they emphasized in the tour, I emphasized in the gallery. It worked good for me at the time anyway
This way when the customer comes to the page to buy, he will see an extension of what he was turned on by instead of becoming confused or disappointed and move on.
You might hear some webmasters say that your only job as the gallery maker is to get the surfer to the sponsor and it's their responsibility to convert it. While there is some truth to this statement (especially in a pay-per-click environment), it's been my experience that some amount of preselling and prequalification on the gallery side will greatly increase your clickthru to sale ratio.
Disappointed and/or confused surfers will hit the exit, no matter how "Netscape, IE and AOL browser friendly" the site is.
(another emphasis, btw)
