Mac Mode

I realize this would be the second time I changed the name of this blog, and enough already, but over time I’ve come to think of whenever I’m using the Mac as being in the Mac Mode, so that’s going to be the new title for this blog. Perhaps by the time you read this I’ll have adjusted this in the blog, but if not, then the change is coming.

The last week the talk has been about Apple dumping IBM and switching to Intel by 2007 in all machines. I reported on this in detail over at MakeYouGoHmm but for here on this blog where I’m trying to learn how to use the Mac, I am wondering what this will mean for my machine? Will software continue to come out afer 2007 that works on the IBM version of Mac? Will Apple gracefully obsolete the system I’m working on? As a relatively new Mac user these are my only concerns on that front.

Guess time will tell.
